A: No problem. If you can provide contemporaneous evidence that you originated the lead (introductory email, text message, CRM timestamp), we'll credit the referral to you. We also provide unique tracking links that automatically attribute referrals.
Q: How long does it take to get paid after a deal closes?
A: You receive payment within 7 business days after we receive our compensation from the capital partner. Most intermediaries take 30-60 days. We prioritize fast payouts because we value our partners.
Q: Can I work with other referral programs or capital sources?
A: Yes, you're not exclusive to us. However, once you refer a specific deal to Afiwi Capital, that transaction is protected for 12 months. You cannot bypass us by independently placing that same deal elsewhere without written consent.
Q: What happens if a deal I referred doesn’t close?
A: You only earn when deals close and we receive payment. If a transaction doesn't fund for any reason, no commission is earned. There's no obligation for us to pursue every referral, and no guarantee of funding.
Q: Can I refer deals outside my state or region?
A: Absolutely. We work nationwide across all 50 states. Commercial real estate and SBA deals from any U.S. location are welcome. Our network includes local, regional, and national capital sources.
Q: What if I refer someone but they’re not qualified?
A: We'll assess the opportunity honestly. If it's not a fit, we'll explain why and what would need to change. You won't earn on unqualified deals, but you'll learn what makes a good referral for future opportunities. We provide feedback to help you improve referral quality.
Q: How do I know if my referral was credited to me?
A: Upon approval as a referral partner, you'll receive access to our partner portal where you can track your referrals in real-time: submission date, status updates, and estimated commission. You'll also receive email notifications at key milestones.
Q: What if there’s a dispute about commission or attribution?
A: Our tracking system (application timestamps, AI agent logs, CRM history) serves as the primary record. If there's a genuine dispute, we review all evidence fairly. In 18+ months of operation, we've had zero attribution disputes because our system is transparent and well-documented.
Q: Can I refer a deal I’m personally involved in?
